Quinn Munton has more than 20 years of experience in real estate operations; infrastructure engineering; energy management and procurement; building automation engineering; and operations management and consulting.
He is the founder and CEO of GPG Advisers, a real estate consulting practice -- and the parent company of RE Insight -- primarily concentrating upon the owner/REIT, commercial real estate, retail, multi-family and hospitality sectors.
Over the past nine years, Quinn has grown GPG Advisers into a full-service consultancy to help owner-operators, corporate occupiers, and multi-family portfolios improve operations, solve technology problems, and operate “greener,” with an end to improving the bottom line. With those goals in mind, RE Insight was formed to deliver a deeper understanding into how assets are best used, leased, operated and developed.
To date, very little is known about how shoppers and tenants use an asset: Quinn’s vision behind RE Insight is to provide empirical data to explore the potential of the property and make real estate investment more like Money Ball by converting real-time data into information that facilitates answering the important questions of how to develop and operate a portfolio.
Prior to founding GPG Advisers, Quinn served as a managing director for RealFoundations where he oversaw its building technology and sustainability (BT&S) practice. The BT&S teams were devoted to the execution of long-range technology plans, large business improvement projects, and packaged technology selection and implementation.
Quinn also served as vice president of operations and engineering for a national telecommunications company and was a systems manager developing the Southern California fiber infrastructure to support the Internet for Pacific Bell.
